It’s weird because my cat got sick suddenly in January when I was away in Ecuador, she lost half her body weight! This was before the food scare for pets, we took her to the vet who thought it was something to do with fatty liver syndrome, so he gave her some pills I have to feed her twice a day orally!
What a show that is, she has since regained her strenth but I still wonder if it was something to do with her food?
Wonder what is in our food chain? Probably just as bad!
Keep up the good work!

Glad to learn your beloved cat is doing better now. I was shocked to read about how this problem has reached human health too. Lots of people eat that canned dog food, it is horrible just to think about it.

My sister’s 17 year old cat and her only child (honestly, this animal is absolutely a child substitute for her and her husband) is now dying from eating tainted expensive special diet cat food.
It is so very sad!
I just read yesterday that something like 50 million US chickens have been fed the melamine tainted food from china.

Nika, how sad. I hope the cat gets better, and I really hope not more pets or humans suffer the consecuences of this problem. It is just a wake up call, just going back to the basics I think is the answer.
Gracias Marta Elena! Un abrazo desde Panama

Yeah, I heard the confusion began with the vegetarian and carnivore issue concerning old people and old pets. My cats and dogs, not forgetting to mention the monkeys, ants and others have only been taken for fools, they actually get to return the favor sevenfold. The feeding of cats, dogs, etc… foods that are not healthy is an intent to make fun; some fun throwing up all the time, yet I have faith and hope that the defined definitions of dogs, cats, etc… gets cleared up so we all can decide more important issues, such as why do egg shells benefit a cat, not a chicken???
