I hope you are having loads of fun while you are there. Stock up on some jamon crudo and dont go home unless you have had at least one steak that made you think you had died and gone to beef-heaven.

Hi melissa, glad to know you’re enjoying the time here in BA. There’s also an amazing organic vegetable delivery service called Tallo Verde. Send me Sonia’s info too, maybe I’ll put her info in my blog - and mayb she knows where I can find platanos maduro y duro. Eat lots of food while you’re here and enjoy much!

Hola Chef Melissa,
My favourite food when I visited Central and South America were the rice and brown beans from Brazil (they served it with nearly every meal: Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner. Do you have the recipe? Please! On a different note. I have something to ask of you:
A Questionnaire for Popular Bloggers,
As you’ve been either a recipient or a candidate for a blogging award I must assume that your blog is quite popular. At my blog http://www.blogspoke.com I have just written a post that has a questionnaire relating to the topic ‘Why I blog’ and I thought it would be pertinent to get some insight from the minds of those who obviously have put a lot of effort into their blogging experience. The post can be found at http://www.blogspoke.com/page/blogspoke?entry=so_you_re_a_blogger.
If you can answer the ten easy questions (in the Comments link) that would be great, but if you could take the time to really let my readers know what you think about blogging (from your heart, mind, and soul) that would be appreciated immensely. We look forward to hearing about what inspires you to make those little ‘ticking’ noises on your keyboard, and on what makes your brain ‘tick’.
Sincerely,
Jesse S. Somer

Thank you Jesse for your visit! I agree with you, rice-and-beans from Brazil is simply delicious…Will post the recipe soon, also a recipe for feijoada
As soon as I have a chance, I’ll go to your blog and answer the questions. Have a tasty day…

I have read that you visited Buenos Aires. Do you know of a good place where I can take a cooking class? I enjoyed reading your blog
Thanks

Amanda,
I was recently in Buenos Aires and took a cooking lesson at a place called “cooking with Teresita.” I highly recommend that you see her website to read about the classes she offers. Teresita has vast experience cooking Latin American food. The class was very informative and plus you get a little bit of a history lesson too. I found her on craigslist, her website is http://www.try2cook.com
Good luck in BA and tell us about it when you get back!

Thank you Veronica for the info. The website looks very neat, a good sign of what to expect in the class by Teresita. Best,
Melissa
